Analytical Development Inc. (ADI) designs, develops & manufactures instrumentation for the Microbiology & Medical Diagnostic markets. The primary focus of ADI in the Microbiology market is ATP Bio-Luminescence, in Medical Diagnostics it is reflectance measurments from nitrocellulose membranes and other substrates. Optics is primary technology used in all of the instruments. The measurement techniques are as follows:
1) Luminescence
2) Fluorescence
3) Reflectance
4) Absorbance
The instruments are highly sensitive, small and portable. The optical sensor technologies, used in the above measurement techniques, are either photomultiplier tubes or silicon photodiodes. ADI instrument products consist of 12x75mm tube luminometers, 12x75mm tube bi-chromatic colorimeters, and custom reflectance readers.
